The suspects were observed riding a stolen scooter and attempted to flee when signaled by the police. During the ensuing chase, the pillion rider reportedly fired at the police team, leading to an exchange of gunfire. One of the accused sustained a bullet injury to his leg and was subsequently arrested along with his accomplice.
