Churchgoers Shot: Two Convicted in Deadly Drive-By

A tragic drive-by shooting near the River of Life Pentecostal Church in Harlesden, north-west London, has resulted in murder convictions for two men. Perry Allen-Thomas and Amir Salem were found guilty by a jury at the Old Bailey.
The incident occurred in December 2024 as mourners gathered for a wake. A vehicle approached the group, and four shots were fired. Tragically, 44-year-old Michelle Sadio was caught in the crossfire and died at the scene.
Two other individuals present were also injured during the shooting. One of these victims sustained injuries that have resulted in permanent paralysis. The convicted men are awaiting sentencing, scheduled for June.
