A notorious Liverpool gangster, Sam Walker, 42, has been apprehended by undercover police in Vietnam. Walker, who gained a following on TikTok for documenting his criminal escapades, filmed his own apparent arrest in the capital city of Hanoi. The footage shows plain-clothed officers surrounding him and subsequently placing him into a police vehicle.
While the exact reasons for his detention remain unclear, Walker himself suggested in social media videos that he might face "section 18 charges." This charge, under English law, can carry a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. Walker has a lengthy criminal record, exceeding 100 offenses, and has previously threatened public figures and evaded legal proceedings.
In 2024, Walker embarked on a six-day journey to Sierra Leone, crossing multiple continents after skipping bail on alleged drug offenses. He was previously unable to attend court hearings due to injuries sustained from a stabbing and shooting incident in July 2025. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office is reportedly in contact with Vietnamese authorities regarding his alleged detention.
