Recording charges dropped for Hochstein and Glidden
20 May
Summary
- Charges of illegal recording against Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden were dismissed.
- Both entered a pre-trial diversion program for charges dismissal.
- The charges stemmed from a recording device placed in Lenny Hochstein's car.

Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden are no longer facing criminal charges related to an alleged wiretapping incident. In April, both were arrested on a felony charge of interception of wire, oral, or electronic communications. The accusations stemmed from placing a recording device in the car of Lisa's ex-husband, Lenny Hochstein, during their contentious divorce proceedings in 2023.
As of May 19, 2026, their defense attorneys announced that the charges will be dismissed in mid-June. This resolution follows their acceptance into a pre-trial diversion program. This program allows for the sealing and expungement of arrest records if they remain arrest-free. The charges will be dropped by the State Attorney's Office without any admission of guilt or conviction.
The arrests occurred after Lenny Hochstein reported finding a "hidden recorder" in his Mercedes-Benz GLS 600 Maybach in March 2023, which he had loaned to Lisa. Experts recovered recordings, including one depicting Lisa and Glidden discussing the placement of the device. Glidden had reportedly purchased two similar devices prior to this incident. The couple finalized their divorce in November 2024.
