Heroin Scare: Three Men Dead in Lancashire

Three men have died from drug use in Lancashire over a brief period earlier this month. Two of the deceased were from Morecambe, aged in their 30s and 40s, while a third man, in his 50s, was from Carnforth.

Authorities are investigating the possibility that one of the men may have ingested a batch of contaminated heroin. As a precautionary measure, Lancashire Police have issued a warning to all drug users, advising them to seek immediate medical attention should they experience any adverse symptoms.

While the potential link to tainted heroin is a line of inquiry, the police have stated there is no current evidence suggesting the other two deaths were a result of similar circumstances. The force also highlighted the inherent risks and unpredictability associated with consuming illicit substances.
