In Kurukshetra, the district police have successfully apprehended two suspects in connection with the theft of valuable antique and heritage utensils. The arrests were made by a team from the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA)-II, acting on the directives of Kurukshetra SP Nitish Aggarwal. The apprehended individuals, identified as Rajat and Yogesh from village Khanpur Koliyan, are accused of stealing numerous historical items.

Authorities recovered around 200 stolen antique utensils from the possession of the accused. The theft was reported on January 8th by Maha Singh, director at Kurukshetra University and owner of a heritage hotel near village Masana. He discovered that a significant number of antique utensils stored in a warehouse on his hotel's property had been stolen. A case was registered, leading to the successful recovery and arrests on January 20th. The accused have since been placed in judicial custody.
