On the evening of November 6th, 2025, a horrific double murder occurred in Kota, India. A 32-year-old woman named Jyoti and her 8-year-old daughter Palak were found dead in their rented home in the Rojadi area under the RK Puram police station.
According to the family, the victims were robbed of Jyoti's jewelry, and the household items were scattered with the cupboards opened in the room. Jyoti's 1.5-year-old son was found alive but in a semi-fainted condition, having cried and wept after the incident.
When Jyoti's husband, Bhagwan Vaishnav, a lab technician at a private hospital, returned home around 8 PM, he found his daughter Palak bleeding from the nose and mouth. He rushed her to the hospital, where she was declared brought dead. Jyoti was found murdered in the kitchen, with a roti on the gas and another she was making nearby.
The police have registered a case of murder, and the investigation is ongoing. The post-mortem of the bodies is being conducted by a medical board. This tragic incident has left the family and the community in Kota deeply shaken.
