22-Year-Old Critically Injured in Kolar Knife Attack

A violent incident occurred in Kolar early Friday morning when a 22-year-old man was repeatedly stabbed over a past disagreement. Priyanshu Tandon was attacked by a group of men near Vishal Mega Mart. He sustained serious injuries to his head, both hands, and his left leg, and is currently in critical condition at JK Hospital.
The assault reportedly took place after an acquaintance, Nitin Kataria, with a prior criminal record, lured Priyanshu aside. According to a police complaint filed by Priyanshu's mother, Kalpana Tandon, Kataria and his associates then attacked Priyanshu with a knife.
Priyanshu's friends rushed him to the hospital and alerted his mother, who subsequently lodged a complaint with the Kolar police. The investigating officer stated that Priyanshu's condition is critical, and his statement has yet to be recorded. An attempt-to-murder case has been registered against Kataria and his accomplices.
