Nicholas Orlando Green, 36, received an 11-year prison sentence for a brutal, unprovoked knife attack on two individuals at Kennington Underground station. The assault occurred on March 27, 2024, shortly after Phillip Thomas and Chintz Patel had finished a dance class.
Green repeatedly stabbed Mr. Thomas in the chest before attacking Mr. Patel, who bravely intervened. The attacker then assaulted a woman before fleeing. Evidence, including his bank card used for travel and trainers left at the scene, led to his identification. He exhibited a lack of remorse during arrest and interviews, even laughing at times.
