Spacey faces 3 new London assault claims
28 Nov
Summary
- Three new civil sexual assault claims filed against actor Kevin Spacey.
- A provisional trial date is set for October 12, 2025.
- Spacey was previously acquitted of nine charges in a 2023 trial.

Kevin Spacey is scheduled to appear in London's High Court next year to face three new civil claims of sexual assault. These allegations reportedly occurred between 2000 and 2013, with a provisional trial date set for October 12, 2025. The actor, who previously served as artistic director for London's Old Vic theater, has formally denied two of the claims.
One accuser alleges approximately a dozen deliberate assaults between 2000 and 2005. Another claims psychological damage and financial loss from a 2008 assault after a theater workshop. A third claimant, Ruari Cannon, who appeared in a 2024 documentary, alleges he was groped at a party in 2013.
These new legal challenges come after Spacey was acquitted by a London jury in 2023 on nine sexual offense charges. The actor, who has faced misconduct allegations since 2017, has recently spoken about financial struggles, stating he has "no home" and is living in hotels.
