Tragic Discovery: Teen Found Dead in Kanpur Drain

In Kathetha village, Kanpur, the lifeless body of 15-year-old Prateek alias Krishna was discovered on Saturday. The discovery was made in a drain situated near a field, with alarming marks of a tightly wound drawstring around his neck. Prateek, a Class 9 student, had reportedly left his home on Saturday afternoon to drive cattle from a nearby field, a task from which he never returned.

His bicycle was found locked near the field, prompting his family to initiate a search. Tragically, his body was found in a drain. The boy's father, Santosh Singh, a local farmer, expressed his devastation and stated he had no known enemies. Police have taken custody of the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
