Kalaburagi city police have apprehended a notorious thief, Mohammad Mujahid, aged 32, in connection with four house burglaries. The arrests were made within the jurisdiction of the Station Bazaar police station.
During the operation, police recovered a significant haul of gold and silver jewellery valued at Rs 13.4 lakh from the accused. This included 85 grams of gold jewellery worth Rs 12.8 lakh and 260 grams of silver jewellery valued at Rs 65,000.
Mohammad Mujahid, a resident of Hyderabad in Telangana, was taken into custody after a complaint was filed regarding a house break-in. He has since been remanded to judicial custody. The investigation is ongoing.
