K-Pop Star Nana Fights Off Armed Intruder, Sustains Injuries

On November 12th, 2025, K-Pop star Nana, 34, was involved in a violent altercation with an armed intruder who broke into her home in the suburbs of Seoul. Nana and her mother confronted the robber, a man in his 30s, at around 6 AM that morning.
The intruder, who was armed with a weapon, threatened the two women and demanded money. In the ensuing struggle, Nana's mother lost consciousness and required medical attention. Nana also suffered injuries while trying to overpower the robber.
Despite the dangerous situation, Nana and her mother were able to subdue the intruder until the police arrived. The robber was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.
Nana's agency, Sublime, released a statement saying that the incident was "very dangerous" and that both Nana and her mother "currently require treatment and absolute rest" due to their injuries.
Nana, whose real name is Im Jin-ah, rose to fame as a member of the popular K-Pop girl group After School. She has since gained recognition as an actress, starring in several crime dramas, including the recent Netflix series "Glitch."
