Juvenile Threatens Deputies With Knives, Gun

In Cass County, deputies responded to a call about a masked individual attempting to break into a home. Upon locating the suspect, authorities reported that the juvenile pointed a firearm at them, prompting a deputy to discharge their weapon. The suspect then fled the scene.

Following the initial confrontation, the juvenile reportedly threatened assisting officers with knives. A Taser was deployed, and the suspect was apprehended shortly thereafter. The juvenile has been taken to a juvenile facility. Authorities have confirmed that no individuals were harmed during the incident and that the public is no longer at risk.
