Ex-Child Star's Brother Arrested for Child Molestation

Joseph Duggar, a father of four, is currently awaiting extradition to Florida following accusations of child molestation. The alleged incident occurred in 2020 while on vacation in Panama City Beach, involving a then-9-year-old girl. The victim, now 14, reported that Duggar apologized after the incidents stopped. Authorities state that the victim's father confronted Duggar on March 17, 2026, leading to an alleged confession.

King, an ex-child star and relative, expressed shock but not surprise at the allegations, referring to a 'toxic system' that allows predators to emerge. She has long advocated for child protection, even against family ties, emphasizing that silence and protection of image create an environment where abuse can thrive. King has worked to break cycles of harm and wrote about her experiences in 'Holy Disruptor.'

She is praying for the victim and her family, as well as for Duggar's wife, Kendra, and their children. King has previously been outspoken against her brother Josh Duggar's conviction for child pornography charges in May 2022. She has distanced herself from other family members, including her uncle and aunt Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, stating that as a mother, she is committed to protecting children.
