In the village of Kharra Harkauti, Jalaun, a 55-year-old woman was tragically found murdered on Wednesday morning. Villagers discovered her home's doors ajar and, upon entering, found signs of a struggle before locating her body in a nearby field.
The victim, who lived alone and supported herself through goat rearing, is believed to have been attacked inside her home on Tuesday night. Police suspect she was struck on the head with a heavy object, and her body was subsequently moved to the field.
Authorities have launched a thorough investigation, with the Superintendent of Police forming four teams to solve the case and apprehend the perpetrator. The deceased's sons, residing in Delhi and Surat, and her married daughters have been notified. A murder case has been filed against unknown individuals.
