Summary
- Retired IAS officer and three others face arrest warrants.
- Failure to appear before ACB investigating agency led to warrants.
- Property attachment proceedings may begin if warrants are not executed.

A special court in Jaipur has issued arrest warrants for retired IAS officer Subodh Agarwal and three associates, Jeetendra Sharma, Sanjeev Gupta, and Mukesh Goyal. These warrants are in relation to an ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities within the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) scheme. The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) secured the warrants after the accused individuals failed to present themselves before the investigating agency during the probe.
Officials indicated that if the arrest warrants for the four accused cannot be successfully executed, the ACB plans to initiate legal proceedings to secure orders for the attachment of their properties. Subodh Agarwal has reportedly been evading authorities for several weeks as the investigation intensifies. The ACB has been actively examining CCTV footage from various cities and conducted extensive searches across 21 cities and questioned approximately 50 individuals on February 17th as part of their evidence-gathering efforts.
