In Jaipur's Walled City, a 30-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his right thigh during a morning incident in the Gangapole area. The assailant, identified as 25-year-old Ravi Mehra, a known individual with 26 criminal cases, reportedly approached on a motorcycle with an accomplice.
Preliminary investigations suggest Mehra intended to target the injured man's cousin, Ajay. However, Ajay managed to evade the shot at the last moment, and the bullet instead struck Bablu Mahawar.
