The Rajasthan High Court has issued a stern directive for the urgent completion of the Jaipur family court and the immediate resolution of its infrastructure deficiencies. Justice P S Bhati, Chairman of the High Court Building Committee, stressed the priority of finishing the construction and clearing any impediments to ongoing work. These directives followed a meeting with the Family Court Bar Association delegation.
The delegation highlighted critical issues, including the absence of basic facilities such as drinking water and toilets, causing significant inconvenience to court users. Justice Bhati took immediate cognizance, ordering the provision of these essential amenities without delay. He underscored that such shortcomings are unacceptable within a judicial setting.
Further concerns raised included an illegal room obstructing the boundary wall construction. Justice Bhati has instructed the High Court registrar to promptly remove the unauthorized structure to ensure the project's smooth progress. The judge also assured the delegation that he would conduct a personal inspection of the family court premises. Additionally, the importance of constructing lawyers' chambers within new court buildings was emphasized as an integral part of infrastructure development.
