- Eight individuals have been released without charge or on bail.
- An alleged extreme right-wing threat targeted an Islamic event.
- Police seized over 35 digital devices during searches.

Police are continuing their investigation into an alleged extreme right-wing threat that targeted an Islamic event, the UK Ijtima, at Shrubland Hall near Ipswich. Eight individuals who were in custody have since been released. Seven were freed without charge, while another was released on bail with strict conditions. The event, which drew thousands, was closed early on police advice due to a credible threat identified during the early hours of its final day.
During the investigation, officers searched homes and vehicles, seizing more than 35 digital devices. While these searches led to a 42-year-old man being charged with possession of offensive weapons and a stun gun, these charges are reportedly not connected to the alleged threat against the Islamic gathering. Commander Helen Flanagan stated that no evidence has been found to support charges linked to the specific threat against the event, but inquiries remain ongoing. Armed officers assisted approximately 15,000 guests in evacuating the site.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the ongoing nature of the investigation and reassured the public and the Muslim community that action will be taken if further threats are identified. They expressed gratitude to event organizers and the local community for their support during this time. The event, which began on Friday, July 10, was scheduled to conclude on Sunday afternoon.
