- Mother allegedly laced lasagna with oxycodone.
- Attempt to cause a miscarriage failed; fetus survived.
- Co-conspirator is being sought by authorities.

In Iowa, Amber Dena Snow, 36, faces serious charges after allegedly delivering a lasagna laced with oxycodone. The incident, which began with a call to the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office in January, centered on a family receiving the drugged meal three days after Christmas.
Authorities confirmed the lasagna contained oxycodone after it was sent to a laboratory. Court documents revealed that a child sharing a parent with Snow was aware of the lasagna's harmful intent and did not consume it. Investigations involving search warrants on Snow's phone uncovered internet searches and conversations related to the crime.
Fortunately, the pregnant woman's fetus survived the alleged attempt to end her pregnancy. The woman reportedly had no knowledge of the attack. A co-conspirator is currently being sought by sheriff's officials, with a second arrest anticipated. Snow is being held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled for a preliminary court hearing on March 23.
Snow is charged with two counts of administering harmful substances to adults and juveniles, intending to terminate a pregnancy without consent, and child endangerment. Her social media indicates she is a mother of three.
