Subsequently, authorities learned a third woman had been killed in her Lyman, Utah, home. The victims, aged in their 30s, 60s, and 80s, were reportedly chosen at random by Miller.
Miller, from Blakesburg, Iowa, is charged with possession of concealed weapons. Investigators from Utah have traveled to Colorado to question him, and extradition proceedings are expected. The white 2022 Subaru Outback, reported missing after the first victim's discovery, was located in Pagosa Springs. The murders led to school closures in Wayne County, Utah, due to safety concerns.
