Her total income during this period was reported as Rs 1.8 crore, while her expenditures amounted to Rs 1.39 crore, revealing an excess of Rs 31 lakh, or 28.85%, beyond her legitimate earnings. This led to the registration of a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
Prior to her arrest in the DA case, Kaur was apprehended on April 2, 2025, with 17.71 grams of heroin found in her vehicle. She had secured bail in that instance on May 1, 2025. Kaur gained notoriety for her frequent use of Instagram, often posting reels while in police uniform, which is against service rules.
