Influencer Found Hanged: Dowry Death Alleged

A social media influencer, identified as Mansi from Kanpur, was found dead at her in-laws' home in Lucknow. Her family has accused her husband, Sagar Rajput, and his relatives of murder, claiming the crime was staged to look like a suicide. The alleged motive was the demand for a car as dowry, which Mansi's family had reportedly not met despite providing Rs 7 lakh and household items at the wedding in 2024.

Mansi's family states she faced persistent taunts and torture for insufficient dowry, compelling her to inform them of the abuse. Despite their attempts to mediate, the situation escalated. Following her death, the family filed a complaint, leading to a dowry death case against Sagar Rajput and five other family members, including his father, brother, sisters-in-law, and aunt. Rajput is currently in custody for interrogation.
