Model and social media influencer Shraddha Dubey, her sister Rashmi Dubey, and their driver Tanveer Ali alias Danish were remanded to judicial custody until October 31st by a Lucknow court. They are implicated in the death of restaurant owner Shiva Sharma, who reportedly fell from a fourth-floor building on October 9th. The trio was arrested in Nagpur on October 20th after being sought by police.
Investigators questioned the accused separately for nearly seven hours, focusing on their relationship with Sharma, any potential altercations before his fall, and their actions after leaving Lucknow. Recovered from Shraddha Dubey were two mobile phones and Rs 25,000 in cash, which are now undergoing forensic examination. These phones are critical, especially as one was previously claimed to be lost in Nepal.
Seven additional individuals, including a house help present during the incident, have been questioned to reconstruct events. The house help reportedly stated Sharma and Shraddha had a heated argument earlier on the day of the incident, a claim police are investigating for its relevance to Sharma's death.
