Court documents indicate that Chung owed approximately $8,000 in rent by the time her lease expired in August 2024. She allegedly remained in the $3,350-a-month apartment for an extended period, potentially accumulating over $50,000 in unpaid rent. Neighbors reportedly described Chung as a troublesome tenant, citing frequent outbursts and disorder.
City Marshal Robert Renzulli confirmed the eviction was completed without incident. Chung, who is currently incarcerated for allegedly skipping out on restaurant bills, was not present during the eviction. Her belongings were left inside the unit and must be held by the landlord for 30 days before disposal.
