Social Media Star Vanishes in Sinaloa Gunpoint Abduction

Mexican authorities are investigating the disappearance of content creator Nicole "La Nicholette" Pardo, who has ties to the United States. Pardo was last seen on January 20 in Culiacán, Sinaloa. A video circulating online, which appears to have been filmed by her Tesla Cybertruck, purportedly shows several armed men abducting her at gunpoint in the Isla Musalá neighborhood.

Authorities have confirmed that Pardo, 20, is missing and are actively tracking vehicles believed to be involved in the incident. The Sinaloa Attorney General's Office has issued a missing persons bulletin for Pardo, who splits her time between Culiacán and Phoenix, Arizona. The US State Department stated it is aware of the situation and is monitoring it, ready to provide consular assistance.

This disappearance occurs amid a significant rise in violence against women in Sinaloa, with the state recording its highest number of femicides in seven years in 2025. Furthermore, Sinaloa has a high number of reported disappearances within Mexico's national register.
