Woman Strangled, Body Dumped in Drain After Fake Sales Pitch

A disturbing crime unfolded recently when a 45-year-old woman's body was discovered in a drain near the Turk Bagdi bypass in Dhar. Investigators determined the victim, Manjubai, was strangled to death. The accused, identified as Ramesh alias Dubaliya, reportedly approached Manjubai in Ranipura, Indore.
He allegedly convinced her to accompany him by promising to buy cutlery items. Instead, during the trip, the accused is said to have strangled her. To cover his tracks, Ramesh is accused of disposing of her body in a nearby drain.
Police initiated an investigation after the body was found face down in the drain. Through meticulous crime scene examination, analysis of technical evidence, and questioning of several individuals, the accused was identified and apprehended. He has been booked for murder.
