On Monday, authorities in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, filed a case against five social media account operators for disseminating a fabricated video. The video falsely depicted a fight at a recent event featuring Punjabi singer Karan Aujla in the city on March 21.
Investigators from the Khajrana police station confirmed the video was neither recent nor from Indore. It was identified as footage from an older event held in Mumbai.
