A fatal stabbing occurred in Indore on Sunday night after a trivial dispute over overtaking escalated into violence. Shivansh Barodia tragically died on Monday from severe blood loss due to an injury to his leg's femoral artery.
The incident began when Shivansh, along with two companions, engaged in an altercation with three other individuals in separate vehicles. The dispute reportedly stemmed from an overtaking maneuver executed from the wrong side on a service lane.
During the ensuing fight, one of the accused allegedly attacked Shivansh with a knife, inflicting critical injuries. Although admitted to a private hospital, Shivansh succumbed to his wounds the following day.
Police have taken the three accused into custody. They have reportedly confessed to their involvement in the crime. Authorities have since registered an attempted murder case and are in the process of adding murder charges.
