Summary
- Haryana STF offers Rs 10 lakh reward on four foreign-based gangsters.
- Fugitives allegedly run criminal networks from thousands of kilometers away.
- Crackdown targets transnational crime and extortion rackets operating abroad.

Haryana's Special Task Force (STF) has initiated a significant crackdown on transnational crime by proposing rewards of Rs 10 lakh on each of four India-based fugitive gangsters. This strategic move targets individuals allegedly orchestrating criminal operations, including murder and extortion, from overseas.
The STF's most-wanted list includes Himanshu Bhau, Rohit Godara, Randeep Malik, and Anil Pandit. These gangsters are accused of running extensive criminal networks that span across multiple Indian states, despite residing thousands of kilometers away. Their operations are believed to be the source of many extortion calls received in Haryana and neighboring regions.
IGP (STF) Satheesh Balan emphasized that these rewards underscore a strong message against organized crime operating beyond India's borders. The STF's initial focus is on these four individuals, with plans to pursue all fugitives who threaten domestic law and order.
Himanshu Bhau, a young gangster, allegedly escaped India in September 2022 using a fraudulent passport and is believed to be in California. Rohit Godara, linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gangs, is suspected to be operating from Europe or the US. Randeep Malik, described as a crucial link in the organized crime ecosystem, has been operating from overseas since October 2015. Anil Pandit allegedly came into contact with Malik after illegally entering the US via the 'donkey route' and is believed to be an operative of the Lawrence gang.
