Police Shut Down Illegal Rave, Arrest Three

An illegal rave in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, was shut down by police early Sunday morning. Officers encountered the event during a routine patrol in the Burrel Road industrial area.
More than 400 individuals were dispersed from the site. A dispersal order was swiftly enacted to prevent further attendees from entering the premises. Police took action to cut the power supply and boarded up the industrial unit to prevent future incidents.
Three people were arrested in connection with the event. The individuals hailed from Doddington, Swindon, and Stroud. They face accusations of various crimes, including burglary, drug possession, and violent disorder. All three have been released on bail.
Authorities stated that illegal raves will not be tolerated and that sound equipment will be seized where appropriate. Drivers leaving such events are also likely to be subjected to breathalyser tests.
