Judge Revokes Bond for Idaho Mother Accused of Killing Twins
16 Jul
Summary
- An Idaho mother faces murder charges for allegedly killing her twin toddlers.
- The judge revoked her bond, citing her as a threat to her newborn.
- The mother claims vaccines caused her twins' deaths, which prosecutors deny.

Andrea Shaw, a 23-year-old Idaho mother, will remain in custody after a judge revoked her bond. She is charged with the murder of her twin toddlers, Dallas and Tyson, who were discovered deceased in their cribs in May 2025.
Shaw's attorney had sought to reduce her $2 million bond to $100,000, arguing she needed to care for her newborn child, born just days before her arrest. However, the judge denied this request, deeming Shaw a threat to her youngest child and revoking her bond entirely.
Prosecutors in Payette County have stated that Shaw should not be near any children, emphasizing that this is a homicide case and not related to vaccines. Shaw and her husband had previously spoken to an anti-vaccine group, claiming the twins died eight days after receiving several vaccinations, including for hepatitis A, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and the flu.
Medical autopsies related to the investigation have not yet been released. The Payette Police Department stated that Shaw's arrest followed a comprehensive investigation. Shaw is also involved in a lawsuit against the American Academy of Pediatrics concerning childhood vaccine recommendations.
