An undercover operation led by DCP Kukatpally Riti Raj uncovered alleged immoral activities and regulatory violations at Kings and Queens Pub in Hyderabad's Kukatpally. The raid, conducted in the early hours of Sunday, followed intelligence regarding suspicious operations within the establishment.
Police reported that the pub was allegedly involved in solicitation and prostitution, with management accused of failing to prevent underage individuals from entering. Further violations included operating beyond stipulated timings and functioning without a necessary police No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Investigators suspect the pub used women to attract customers and inflate bills for illicit gains, possibly procuring women for patrons. Nine staff members, comprising four women and five men, were detained for legal proceedings. The pub has a history of previous offenses, with a fresh case registered under the BNS and the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
