Hyderabad Man's Suicide Linked to Loan Harassment

A tragic incident has unfolded in Hyderabad where a 43-year-old man, Mohammed Rashed Razvi, allegedly took his own life by jumping into a lake. This extreme step is purportedly linked to severe harassment over a loan repayment. Razvi's family states he left a self-recorded video detailing his distress.
In the video, Razvi allegedly accused a financier named Zaker of demanding an additional Rs 5 lakh. This demand was reportedly made despite the principal loan amount having already been repaid. His body was recovered on September 3, approximately three days after he is believed to have jumped into the lake.
The search operation, conducted by the NDRF, was challenging due to darkness and the submerged nature of the body. Following its recovery, the body was sent for a postmortem. Initially, a missing-person complaint was filed on August 31. However, the police have now registered a case of suspicious death and are investigating further.
