This directive stems from a petition filed by individuals asserting their ownership of the Guttalabegumpet property.
The petitioners' counsel informed the court that a government order in July 2022 had regularized the land, after which they had maintained peaceful possession. They argued that the agencies' actions, claiming the land as government property without prior notice, were illegal and violated natural justice principles.
Justice B Vijaysen Reddy, noting that the petitioners appeared to be the rightful owners, granted an interim injunction. The authorities are now prohibited from disturbing the petitioners' possession without due legal process. The case has been adjourned for further hearing.
