A woman, identified as 34-year-old bank customer care executive B Sirisha, was found murdered in a hotel room in SR Nagar on Tuesday. Police suspect her partner, 38-year-old A Srinivas, is responsible following a late-night argument. Sirisha, a divorcee, had been in a relationship with Srinivas, who reportedly works in the Telugu film industry.
According to the Jubilee Hills DCP, the couple checked into the hotel on September 9, with Sirisha joining Srinivas on September 24. Both used fake Aadhaar cards with false names; Srinivas registered as Ganesh and Sirisha as Durga. Srinivas allegedly left the hotel around 3:30 AM on Tuesday, informing staff Sirisha would check out later.
When Sirisha failed to respond to calls by noon, hotel staff alerted the police. Upon entering room 103, officers discovered Sirisha deceased on the bed, with a food plate nearby. Police believe a blunt object was used in the fatal assault during an argument. A case has been registered against Srinivas under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for murder, and special teams have been formed to apprehend him.
