Summary
- Police seek Red Corner Notice for fugitive accused in fatal 2016 crash.
- Accused allegedly failed to attend court proceedings, warrant issued.
- Drunk driving suspected in accident that killed three family members.

Nearly ten years after a fatal road accident in Hyderabad claimed three lives across three generations, city police are intensifying efforts to apprehend a fugitive accused. Authorities have initiated steps to secure a Red Corner Notice through Interpol for Vishnu Vineeth, who is believed to be residing in the United States. This action comes after Vineeth allegedly failed to attend court proceedings related to the July 1, 2016, incident.
A non-bailable warrant was issued against Vineeth for his continuous absence from court. Police had previously sent a proposal to the CBI to pursue the Red Corner Notice. Vineeth is accused of being an accomplice, while his friend K Shravil allegedly drove Vineeth's family car while intoxicated, leading to the crash near Nagarjuna Circle.
The accident occurred when the car, allegedly driven by Shravil under the influence of alcohol, lost control and flipped after hitting a road divider. A second car, carrying the victims – nine-year-old Ramya, her uncle P Rajesh, and grandfather Madhusudhana Chary – collided with the accused's vehicle. Ramya, her uncle, and grandfather tragically died from their injuries sustained in the collision.
