Task Force authorities in Hyderabad have apprehended 12 individuals who were operating unregistered clinics while falsely claiming to be doctors. Investigations revealed that some operators were pharmacy or paramedic diploma holders, while others had no medical background at all. One individual, a former lab technician, ran a clinic near a vegetable market. Another, holding a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery degree, posed as a general and children's specialist with a fake MBBS degree.
Further scrutiny uncovered a case where an individual used a self-made concoction for psoriasis treatment, posing as a dermatologist. All these individuals were treating patients for various ailments without proper licensure or qualifications.
