Husband, Wife Found Deceased in Indore Home

A suspected murder-suicide incident unfolded in Indore's Pardeshipura locality on Tuesday, March 11, 2026, when a couple was found dead in their residence. Their teenage sons discovered the bodies after returning from a milk run. Police identified the deceased as Eknath Wagh, 43, and his wife Rohini, 38.

Investigators believe Eknath Wagh, reportedly facing significant financial burdens and debt, may have killed his wife before ending his own life. The discovery was made shortly after 8 am when the sons returned home. Evidence such as broken bangles near Rohini's body points to a potential altercation. A cloth found stuffed in Eknath's mouth suggests an attempt to silence him during the act.

Family members indicated that Eknath Wagh had recently transitioned from auto mechanics to share trading and was experiencing considerable financial strain. Despite having sold two properties previously, he remained in debt. The house owner, who resides on the ground floor, reported no unusual activity during the night.

Autopsy results are pending, and police are continuing to gather information from neighbours and relatives to piece together the events leading up to this tragedy. The sons reported that the household atmosphere appeared normal the previous night.
