Influencer's Body Exhumed Amid Murder Probe
8 Feb
Summary
- Influencer's body exhumed for further forensic tests.
- Prosecutors suspect strangulation over heart attack.
- Investigation into death occurs at lawyer's home.

The remains of influencer Barbara Jankavski Marquez, dubbed "Human Barbie," were exhumed on February 3rd, 2026, due to serious questions surrounding her death. Prosecutors challenged the initial ruling of a heart attack linked to cocaine use. Authorities are now investigating whether Marquez, 31, was strangled, citing neck injuries consistent with mechanical asphyxiation.
Marquez was discovered deceased in a lawyer's home on November 2nd, 2025. The lawyer claims they both used cocaine and she died in her sleep. The investigation has been transferred to the Department of Homicide and Protection of the People (DHPP), with a deadline for the final report set for early March 2026.
Known online as "Inhuman Doll," Marquez underwent numerous cosmetic procedures, spending over £40,000 to achieve her distinctive look. Her family disputes the accidental death theory, leading prosecutors to demand further forensic examination, including X-rays of her neck and DNA testing.
