A man identified as Robert Edward Glasscock is now facing several new charges stemming from alleged incidents across Houston, according to recent court records. Police reported that Glasscock sprayed a contractor at the downtown Club Quarters Hotel on Wednesday night, where he had reportedly been staying for several weeks.
Newly obtained documents detail further accusations, including Glasscock allegedly spraying a worker at a Best Buy store in the Galleria area earlier this year. He is also accused of attacking two women at a Kroger grocery store in the Heights area last year.
One of the alleged victims at the Kroger recounted being sprayed with a chemical irritant and experiencing its effects for an extended period. She also stated that Glasscock allegedly groped a second woman inside the store. A video recording by the second victim and a license plate number provided by another eyewitness reportedly aided investigators in tracking down Glasscock.
