An unusual incident unfolded on the Hollywood Walk of Fame when a man, reportedly soliciting money from tourists with exotic snakes, fled from police. Officers from the LAPD's Hollywood Division attempted to engage the individual, identified by some as "Snake Señor" due to a boa constrictor he was displaying. Instead of cooperating, the man abandoned his reptiles and fled the scene on foot.
Authorities managed to safely secure the snakes left behind. Images shared by the police department showed the reptiles contained within a crate in an officer's vehicle. These animals were then transported to Los Angeles Animal Control. The handler's identity and whether he faces charges for his actions are not yet confirmed by the LAPD.
