Tragic Discovery: Couple Found Dead in Hocking County Home

In Hocking County, a tragic discovery was made Monday morning when authorities found Jordan Chaffin, 30, and Coty Chaffin, 32, deceased inside their home. Police were initially dispatched to the residence following a welfare check request for the female occupant.

Upon arrival, officers encountered a grim scene, with the man located in the living room and the woman in the kitchen. Both were pronounced dead at the property by emergency personnel. The Logan Police Department is treating the case as a suspected murder-suicide.
