Tragedy struck Gurugram's Sector 68 on Thursday when a 30-year-old man, identified as Mohammad Aslam, allegedly murdered his 28-year-old wife, Farhana, before ending his own life. The couple, originally from Kerala, resided in a rented apartment within the M3M Marina society in the Badshahpur area.
According to police reports, Aslam is suspected of strangling his wife and then hanging himself. Authorities were alerted and promptly arrived at the scene. Both bodies have been sent for post-mortem examinations to determine the exact cause of death and the sequence of events.
Investigators are currently working to understand the motive behind this extreme act. No suicide note was found, leaving the reasons for the murder-suicide unclear at this time.
