When the police arrived at the couple's 13th-floor apartment in Millennium City Society, they found Kumar hanging from a ceiling fan and Sharma lying dead on the floor, with a scarf used to strangle her.
The couple, who were originally from Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj and West Bengal's Asansol, respectively, had been married for three years and were working from home at the time of the incident. Preliminary investigations suggest the couple had an argument shortly before the tragic events unfolded.
The police have registered a case and are conducting further investigations to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths of the IT professionals. This shocking incident has left the local community in Gurugram deeply shaken.
