Gurgaon Clubs Raided for Noise Violations

Two BYOB clubs in Gurgaon were recently subjected to police action due to violations of noise pollution regulations. Patrolling teams discovered that the establishments were operating with loud music beyond the permitted hours and without the necessary permissions.
Following complaints from residents, police teams inspected suspected locations. ACP Badshapur Yashwant Yadav led checks that confirmed violations at clubs in Sector 61 and Sector 58. At Don Jon BYOB & Lounge Club, operator Rajat Gupta failed to present any authorization for late-night loud music. Similarly, Anuj Mehndiratta of Where Else BYOB & Lounge Club in Sector 58 could not provide official approval.
Authorities confiscated three music systems and four speakers from the two venues. Cases have been filed against both club operators under the Environment Protection Act and Section 152 of the BNS. The police have stated that further proceedings will be forwarded to the sub-divisional magistrate office, emphasizing a commitment to enforcing noise pollution norms.
