A special Pocso court in Ahmedabad has delivered a stringent sentence of 20 years imprisonment to 51-year-old Hasan Shaikh. Shaikh was convicted for the digital rape and sexual harassment of a six-year-old girl. The court found him guilty of repetitive penetrative sexual assault against the child.

Despite his claims of innocence, the prosecution presented 13 witnesses and an equal number of documents. The court emphasized its duty to award an adequate sentence, considering the offense's gravity.
