Four people were found unresponsive in the East Marsh area, with initial suspicions pointing to an overdose involving heroin and a synthetic amphetamine.
Humberside Police executed warrants at multiple properties across Grimsby and Cleethorpes. During these raids, officers successfully recovered a quantity of drugs, along with cash and mobile phones. The ten men, aged between 18 and 39, are currently detained on suspicion of supplying Class A controlled substances.
Detective Inspector Tom Kelly confirmed that extensive inquiries are ongoing to establish the complete sequence of events. He stated that the reports of four individuals requiring hospital treatment are strongly suspected to be connected to the supply of Class A drugs. The police are collaborating with local authorities and healthcare services to ensure appropriate support is offered to those affected.
