Doctor Blocks Traffic, Threatens Officer in Goa

In Porvorim, Goa, a 73-year-old doctor has been charged by police for allegedly obstructing a traffic officer. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon at Malim junction while police were managing traffic congestion.
The driver, Audumbar alias Uday Bandodkar, was reportedly driving on the wrong side of the road at high speed. When signaled to stop, he allegedly ignored the command and drove his vehicle towards head constable Sushant Mhapankar.
Reports indicate the doctor also threatened the officer. As the constable approached the vehicle, the doctor allegedly pushed him and sped off towards Porvorim.
Bandodkar was later summoned to the Porvorim police station, where he stated his rush was due to attending to his patients. An FIR has been registered, and PSI Arun Shirodkar is conducting further investigations.
